Colleen M. Haddow has been practicing exclusively in the area of family law since 2006.

Ms. Haddow focuses her practice on all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, spousal support, mediation and property settlement agreements. Ms. Haddow regularly appears throughout courts in Northern Virginia representing the interests of her clients. She takes a practical and economical approach to her cases and strives to meet the individual needs of each client. Ms. Haddow thoroughly enjoys personally working with each of her clients to tailor a case strategy that best serves them and their family.

Ms. Haddow also practices appellate family law and has assisted in shaping legislation regarding spousal support. 

Ms. Haddow is actively involved in various legal activities with both the state and local bar association. She has won awards of recognition for her service from various bar associations.

Ms. Haddow has been recognized for her expertise in Family Law by her peers and is a 2018 Super Lawyer in Family Law for Virginia. She has also been selected as a Rising Star by Virginia and Washington DC Super Lawyers in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Virginia Business magazine recognized her as a Legal Elite in Family Law in 2015 and 2017 and the National Association of Family Law Attorneys awarded her Top 10 Under 40 in Virginia for Family Law.

Ms. Haddow resides in the City of Alexandria with her husband and two daughters.

She is also available to meet with clients in Fairfax, Virginia by appointment.
