About
Since 1997, the Israel Center impacts the local community, bringing Israel to Southern Arizona in dynamic ways. It is Tucson’s premier resource fostering strong Jewish identity with Israel. The Center engages Southern Arizona’s Jewish and broader communities in building living bridges to Israel, its people, culture, and history through educational experiences, advocacy, and outreach.
In 2011, the Israel Center was re-named the Weintraub Israel Center to honor Ron and Diane Weintraub for their vision, leadership and generous support. The Weintraub Israel Center is a joint project of the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona, Tucson Jewish Community Center, and the Jewish Agency for Israel.
