Sharon Mark, Member of the Ashdod city council, former deputy mayor of the city of Ashdod. 

 As Deputy Mayor of Ashdod between 2018-2020, Sharon was responsible for the municipality's education, industry and innovation portfolios, while also serving as Chairperson of the Environmental Municipal committee. She is the founder and head of the “Lionesses” women's party and is the first woman in Ashdod to assume this position. Previously, Sharon was a lecturer at the Achva College and at the Chemical Engineering Department at SCE College of Engineering. She has worked for 14 years in the Ashdod-Yavne Regional Association for Environmental Protection. She is an expert in methods and models that encourage environmental activism in the urban space. Sharon holds an M.A. in Education and is a Ph.D. candidate at the Porter School of Environmental Studies at the Tel Aviv university.
