SKABC 2024  Trip and training survey

Hello SKABC Paddlers.
Limor (Trips officer) and Kallie (Training officer) are looking for input regarding 2024 trips and training.
Responses will help inform planning meetings in December and early January.  Therefore, the survey will remain open until December 2nd - Christmas party.

 Training Question : Each year SKABC offers 5 courses: Beginner's, Boat Handling and Rescues, Navigation, Weather, Currents. Where there is interest we offer additional courses and also facilitate courses with 3rd party providers for members only.  To help ensure courses will be available in 2024 if there is demand, please let us know the courses you are interested in.

SKABC Best Practices in Camping (learn and practice the principles of minimum impact camping on a weekend trip)
SKABC Instructor's Course (2 day course for members interested in instructing SKABC members; focuses on “how to teach” as opposed to the “what”)
SKABC Trip Leader Course (theory + 2-3 day scenario based trip)
Trip Leader Workshop (2 evening workshop)
Remote 1st Aid (20 hr course: 1 evening + 2 days, usually at UBC endowment lands; 3rd party provider)
First Aid: CPR/AED (5-6 hr session offered in person or hybrid) (SKABC member only; 3rd party provider)
Safe Surf Launching and Landing (2 days in Ucluelet/Long Beach; 3rd party provider - SKILS) 
VHF Marine Radio Certification ( SKABC member only; 3rd party provider)
